Inseparable for 52 years, they died hand-in- hand: Grandparents found clinging to each other in the fatal car wreck that claimed both their lives

John and Betty Hodgkiss werefound by rescuers in the wreckage of their car with their hands tenderly held together when they died in Shropshire last month. Mr Hodgkiss, 82, was pronounceddead at the scene, while his wife, 79, was airlifted to hospital, where she passed away the next day. Their heartbroken family has now spoken of the comfort they feel knowing the couple had been able to have a final loving moment together beforethey died.
