The ring, which will capture subatomic particles that live only 2.2 millionths of a second, will be transported in one piece, and moved flat, to its new home atthe U.S. Department of Energy's Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Ill.(AP Photo/Brookhaven National Laboratory) June 11, 2013: A 50-foot-wideelectromagnet storage ring, atBrookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, N.Y., on eastern Long Island.
